We kicked things off by painting one of Free People’s social team members, Roo’s nails with a the Free People tartan nail design, painted by the insanely talented @mwahstudios_

Then it was straight to George Street to set up for launch night and wow…the store is stunning and @thenailfairy_cutebutdeadly and @catfightnailclub worked their little butts off 💕

We opened our second salon in Bathgate @cutebutdeadlynailco.bathgate gave Easter Road a glow-up, teamed up with @lucyandyak ,hosted many pop-ups (including the amazing people at @laura_bond_jewellery and @inkwell.tattoo.studio) boba collab with @cafekawaii_co hit the tattoo convention and painted more unreal nail art than we can count 💅💀

We’ve welcomed new artists, said goodbye to some incredible ones, and grown in ways we never imagined 💕

None of this happens without our clients so thank you for trusting us with your nails, your ideas and your creativity.

A 24-year-old fine art graduate, fantasy lover, spooky queen, and mum to her goldendoodle Axl. Freya has been obsessed with nail art since school (she literally used to fake a cold just to stay home and practice designs…dedication we deeply respect 😈).

From gothic and medieval vibes to moody, magical, music-inspired sets, Freya lives for anything dramatic and full of character. When she’s not creating tiny masterpieces, you’ll find her painting, crafting, getting tattooed, or lost in a fantasy book ✨📚

And now…she’s bringing all that creativity straight to Cute But Deadly.

Freya officially starts Monday 12th January and will be working at Easter Road every Monday, Wednesday & Thursday.
