This weekend we hosted our Protect the Dolls Workshop with our Nail Fairy @thenailfairy_cutebutdeadly and salon owner @meantformore.creatives 💖

A creative workshop centred around our trans and non-binary community where everyone could come together to create custom press-on sets, make nail keyrings, chat, laugh and just exist in a safe, supportive space 🖤

The whole idea behind the day was simple really. Giving something back to a community that has always shown Cute But Deadly so much love and support, while creating an environment where people could connect through creativity 🧚🔥✨

It was such a wholesome day filled with good conversations, new connections, learning, creativity and LOTS of gorgeous nail art 💅🏻

We also had the chance to hear more about the amazing work Anne does, which made the day feel even more special and meaningful 🌈

Huge thank you to everyone who came along and spent the day with us. We’re so proud of the community around Cute But Deadly and events like this remind us exactly why spaces like this matter so much 💋🦄

On Saturday we had the absolute honour of joining @lgbtiscotland at their Pride festival in Leith Links and honestly, it was such a special one for the Cute But Deadly gang ✨

We spent the day doing temporary Cute But Deadly tattoos and face glitter, meeting so many gorgeous people and celebrating exactly what our salon stands for: being a space where everyone is welcome, safe and free to be fully themselves 😈

We’re incredibly proud to have the Rainbow Mark in our salons, a symbol that shows our commitment to being a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ people in Scotland. It means a lot to us, and events like this are such an important reminder of why visibility and inclusion matter so much, especially right now.

From watching the incredible @bollyqueer dancers to seeing pottery with @mudstation , yoga in the sunshine and having so many meaningful chats throughout the day, the whole event felt full of joy, creativity and community 🖤

This was only their SECOND year running the festival and it already felt amazing, so just imagine how incredible it’s going to be next year!!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, got glittered, tattooed and shared a moment with us. We’re so proud to support such an important cause and be part of a community that celebrates everyone 🌈💘✨💕🦄
