What a night.

Firstly, a huge shout out to Lauren @ohnails.bylauren & @polishnpaint for the months of hard work that went into making After Dark happen. Organising an event like this is no small task, and it really showed. The atmosphere, the people, the brands... everything came together so brilliantly. You should be incredibly proud. 🖤

For us, the best part wasn't just the prizes (although we somehow came home with some amazing goodies from the raffle and tombola!), it was the conversations.

Cute But Deadly has never been about fitting into a mould. It’s about self-expression, individuality and creating a space where people feel comfortable being exactly who they are.

Long before Pride Month rolls around, our salons are filled with people from all walks of life, different identities, different stories and different ways of expressing themselves. That’s one of our favourite things about the community we’ve built.

We’re incredibly proud to hold the Rainbow Mark and to support LGBTQIA+ people in Scotland, but more importantly we’re proud to create spaces where people feel safe, welcomed and celebrated every single day.

Pride isn’t just about rainbow logos. It’s about community, visibility, acceptance and making sure people know they belong.

Marlena is ridiculously talented, brings the best energy and is always such a special part of the Cute But Deadly extended family. It was so lovely having her in the space painting gorgeous nails ✨
